Background

Slack had recently launched a whole suite of productivity features, including documentation (canvas), data tracking (lists), and task automations (workflows), but adoption of these tools were low. So we were tasked with increasing adoption by pulling all these tools together to solve customer use cases.

UI & Navigation

After many rounds of research and iteration, we discovered that the channel creation flow was the best entry point to introduce the concept of templates.

Naming

Tested options through research to find the best fit. Worked with PMM to craft a cohesive narrative, worked through difficult and conflicting leadership feedback to find the solution.

Content Production

Lead the creation of 31+ channel templates, outlined use cases & tracked reviews.
