Slack Canvases
With only a quarter before the official product launch, I was brought onboard to help the team articulate the value of this documentation tool, create consistency across touch points, and ultimately help customers find it.

A revelant & timely NUX
Nothing’s worse than a pop up module that interrupts your workflow. So I closely with product, design, and data partners to find the optimal audience for canvases and the optimal moment to introudce them to the tool. Then we relied on the power of word of mouth within organizations to aid in widespread adoption.
Standarized langauge
Before I joined the team, there was a huge amount of inconsistency for even the simplest references to canvases. So I worked with product and marketing to craft guidelines the team could reference to get everyone on the same page.
Templates strategy
Turns out an empty page is daunting (jk, no one is surprised). We had customers requesting we create a template library, but we also couldn’t become a content production house overnight. So I worked with design to set some basic principles for template creation so that we could speed up production without sacrificing quality.
